50th Anniversary of Paramahamsa Hariharananda coming to the West. 8th Balashram Trek in Switzerland

This special event commemorates the auspicious occasion of Paramahamsa Hariharananda's coming to the West and Switzerland for the first time in 1974. We would like to celebrate this blessed anniversary by offering a journey of remembrance and honouring Gurudev in Switzerland.

This event is also the 8th Balashram Trek and aims to raise funds for the Hariharananda Residential School in Odisha, India.

Our beloved Shri Guruji, Paramahamsa Prajnanananda, is expected to attend this event along with Rajarshi Peterananda and other teachers. There will be daily guided kriya meditations.

We will stay in Kiental in the Bernese Oberland, the end of the valley belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage "Jungfrau - Aletsch". We will be accommodated in Kientalerhof and Chinehus houses. Vegetarian/Vegan food will be served. Highlights of the event include:

• Day trip to Spiez, boat tour on Thunersee
• Visit to the famous St. Beatus Caves
• Scenic train journey to the mountain top of Niesen
• Visit and celebrations at the House of Religions in Bern
• Local mountain hikes
