Mahashivaratri is a festival commemorating Lord Shiva and it is considered a very auspicious time for meditation. We would be celebrating the festival as follows. If you can’t come for the whole program, please feel free to join us for a part of the program. Please feel free to bring your family/friends.
5:30 PM to 6:00 PM: Spiritual discourse on the importance of Mahashivaratri
6:00 PM – 6:45 PM: Puja (Worship of Lord Shiva)
First Kriya Meditation, thematic for MahaShivaratri (for Kriyavans)
General Meditation (for Non-Kriyavans)
8:15 PM: Dinner
9:00 PM- 9:45 PM: Songs/ Cultural Program/ Kirtan
10:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight: Silent Mediation *
12:15 AM: Prasad (Sweets/ Fruits) distribution
* After silent mediation, guests, if they want to, are welcome to stay overnight in the ashram.
