9.30am: Shri Vedavyasa Puja & Shri Guru Paduka Puja
11.00am: Break
11.15am: One hour First Kriya guided meditation
12.30pm: Potluck lunch (please bring something to share with no onions, garlic, eggs or mushrooms)
Gurupurnima is celebrated on Sage Vyasadeva’s birthday and we honour Him as the Adi Guru, the original teacher. He is credited with compiling the four Vedas (ancient scriptures), writing the Mahabharata (including the Bhagavad Gita), and authoring the 18 Puranas (sacred Hindu texts).
We celebrate Sage Vyasadeva on Guru Purnima but also pay homage to all Gurus of our Lineage as our foremost teachers and guides.
