East Coast Retreat - New York City, NY

Aug 22 - Aug 24, 2014

Join us for this special opportunity to spend three days in quiet, meditation and reflection. Led by Swami Atmavidyanda Giri and our loving teachers we will explore the deeper teachings of Karma Yoga in the Baghavad Gita.

This inspirational retreat will be held in the peaceful, mountainous surroundings of a Rinzai Zen Buddhist monastery located on 1,400 acres high in the Catskill Mountains pristine forest preserve on the banks of the highest lake in the Catskills and 3 hours north of New York City. The retreat is being structured to provide disciples attending an opportunity to be in an secluded environment away from the regular bustle of everyday life in order to focus on and immerse themselves in their uninterrupted meditation practice. The monastery is designed solely around this purpose and that is one of the deciding factors in our choosing this location. This is further illustrated by no phone or internet connection for miles from the secluded location in the mountains.

The East Coast Regional Retreat is a rare opportunity for extended uninterrupted guidance allowing you to deepen your meditation practice, receive spiritual teachings, gain insights into the deeper wisdom hidden in the Bhagavad Gita and experience the divinity within.

Retreat location: Dai Bosatsu Zendo Kongo-Ji, 223 Beecher Lake Road, Livingston Manor, NY 12758, (845) 439-4566
