The Yoga Sutra of Patanjali

The classic Sanskrit text of Sage Patanjali's Yoga Sutra is deceptively concise: in fact, it is dense with profound insights into the spiritual path of Kriya Yoga as both the means and end of Self-realization, or merging with the Divine. As such, it has drawn much commentary over the years from sages and scholars alike.
This new treatment of the Yoga Sutra includes key translations of the Sanskrit as well as an original foreword and treasured commentary by acclaimed Yogiraj Shri Lahiri Mahasaya. Paramahamsa Prajnanananda builds upon this substantial foundation with insightful metaphorical explanations that will render the sutras more intelligible to contemporary seekers. Following the example of Shri Lahiri Mahasaya, these new explanations are delivered in accessible and clear language to aid the modern reader's understanding.

Know Your Mind

Despite the amazing advancements made in science and technology, we have made little progress towards unraveling the mystery of the human mind. What is the mind? How does it influence our lives? Can we really control our mind and thereby change how we perceive the world? Although modern-day experts may find it difficult to answer these questions, those who are masters of the ancient science of yoga hold a key that unlocks the mind's mystery.
In this book, Paramahamsa Prajnanananda takes us on a fascinating journey into our own mind. Possessing a keen insight into the human psyche, Paramahamsaji has the remarkable ability to take this complex knowledge and explain it in a manner that is easily understood by all.

Forgive my Forgetfulness

Long ago, a brilliant and enlightened young monk named Shri Adi Shankara breathed new life into India's long-standing monastic order and left humanity a treasure trove of his wisdom and teachings in the form of prayers, hymns, and commentary. In this commentary by Paramahamsa Prajnanananda, a great, God-realized Kriya Yoga Master, his deep love and reverence for Shri Adi Shankara lend themselves to this beautiful, sensitive, and thought-provoking commentary. Ever attuned to the Divine, his words emanate from the fathomless wisdom that abides within.
